Involvement and Academics
Study Abroad
Each year approximately 20 AOIIs study abroad all over the world in amazing places like Spain, Australia, London, and Italy -- Just to name a few! Many sisters study abroad together making the experience that much more memorable.
AOIIs pride themselves in being able to handle a lot of responsibilities. Even with work, academics, and sorority involvement, AOIIs are still able to participate in various campus clubs and organizations. These include: athletic and club sports teams, academic honors clubs, and countless volunteer organizations. With many fellow sorority sisters involved in many of these activities, new members are highly encouraed to get involved. Alpha Omicron Pi's members pride themselves in being well-rounded and balanced.
Academics
AOII strongly promotes scholarship and academics as an integral component of sorority life. The Chi Psi chapter of Alpha Omicron Pi offers an extensive academics program to help assist its members to excel academically. Members are encouraged to set academic goals for themselves and meet their personal expectations as they progress through their collegiate years. Chi Psi has been rewarded multiple awards for its strong academics. The women of Chi Psi are pursing degrees in a wide variety of areas which reflects the different areas of interest that the house has.
Awards
Yearly, AOII Chapters are awarded for different achievements by nationals. For 2014 Chi Psi was awarded for excellence in operations, excellence in philanthropy, and honorable mention in communication, fraternity/sorority relations, and outstanding leaders council!
