Sisterhood & Events
From the moment you enter Alpha Omicron Pi as a member of the newest pledge class, you are presented with a variety of activities from sisterhoods to exchanges to formals to get well acquainted with one another and the older girls in the chapter. Aside from these formally planned events, we are always doing fun things together, like expeditions to Starbucks and Yogurt Creations, tanning on our front lawn, watching The Bachelorette at the AOII House, and traveling together during spring and summer breaks. You'll find every minute you spend with your sisters is filled with fun and amazing memories!
SISTERHOODS
Throughout the year, there are countless sisterhood activities that will always keep AOIIs busy! From yoga on the beach to our annual sisterhood at Disneyland, there are always fun things planned to do with fellow sorority sisters. We also participate in "sister twister" events, in which we partner up with another sorority and plan a sisterhood with them. This gives AOIIs to meet more Greek life members and build more friendships!
EXCHANGES
Exchanges are just another exciting part of AOII social life. AOII participates in various exchanges per year, where we pair up with a fraternity, dress up in costumes, and enjoy a night of socializing and dancing at amazing venues. Exchanges are some of AOII's favorite social events and a great way to get to know fraternities.
INVITES
Date party kicks off the year in fall quarter as our first invite event. We put on costumes according to the theme, and meet up with our dates for a night of dancing! Our Winter quarter starts off with semi-formal and we end the year with our most beloved event, formal. Dressed to impress, we invite our dates to dinner with us and then proceed to dance the night away at a gorgeous venue!
Greek Week
This is one of the most fun weeks of the year! During the spring quarter, Greek Week is a week full of events, games, and challenges between mixed teams of sororities and fraternities to fundraise money for philanthropies.
PARENTS WEEKEND
Parents Weekend occurs each year, and gives parents a chance to visit their daughters, go sight-seeing around San Luis Obispo, and see what AOII is all about! During Parents Weekend, we hold a formal dinner at the AOII House, where parents and daughters can enjoy getting to know other families while enjoying great food!
